Montessori Records Express Print E-mail

Montessori Records Express (MRX) was created to facilitate lesson planning and record keeping in individualized programs, particularly Montessori classrooms and home school applications.  Conceptual Learning Materials has partnered with  MRX to make it easy for teachers to incorporate Insights into Math Concepts into their curriculum.

  • To view and copy Conceptual Learning Materials lesson sequences log in,  go to Administration, and click on Copy Works-Lessons.
  • Select level, go to Training Centers, and click on TX, Houston - Conceptual Learning Materials
  • Go to Area.  Every lesson sequence within the level is listed.  Note that the listing is alphabetical by general topic rather than in order of presentation.  Make sure you scroll down to view all the Conceptual Learning Materials lesson sequences.
  • Click on specific area to view a detailed description all all exercises within the area.
  • Copy and incorporate into your lesson sequences according to your curriculum.

After giving basic lessons with Montessori math materials, most teachers create a new, parallel  "area" in their lesson sequences for CLM follow-up lessons; the students progress through the entire sequence, often one lesson a day.

Some teachers prefer to incorporate specific exercises within their particular sequence.  For example, after a lesson on angles, the teacher may direct the child to Geometry Introduction 4.
