I have been using the Math Concepts card material in my lower elementary classroom for 9 years now. Over the years I have found it become a key component of our daily math work cycle. My students independently work at their own pace using the Mixed Practice cards and I am able to individualize student learning by offering each child additional practice with the other concept card materials as needed. It is also convienient to present the card material alongside the concrete Montessori materials as the concept cards progress in a similar concrete to abstract sequence. This series really supports an independent work environment for my students. It takes a little time to set up, but once in place it will become a useful resource for any Montessori classroom.
